My Past Weeks

For breast cancer awareness month, at school we had a pink out football game. The football boys used pink athletic tape, fans wore pink shirts and ribbons were passed out. Since, I can't do much being in band, I wore a pink ribbon on my uniform and drew this on my wrist.  The second picture is from the reformatory. Me, Dustin and Brooke went to it on October 4th. It was okay, but I think it be much cooler to just go on a tour of it with no people actually trying to scare you. The place is pretty freaky without the scarers. For those not familiar with the Mansfield Reformatory (Penitentiary) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlabfIO71Yg here's a link to a video about it. Not too interesting but it's all I could find. Did try to find the Ghost Hunters episode but couldn't.  Another thing new in my life is carving pumpkins Saturday! Yay! I'll post pics

The School's Rock

Drum line attacked the school's rock recently! Go PHS drum line! Well, here's the girls of my squad. We are missing one, Shawn but being a football player he isn't very active in the drum line during marching band season. From left to right, it's me, Ashley, Tayler and Katy. We have lots a fun, this is by far the best drum line (and the smallest) I have ever been a part of. So far, we've written 3 cadences. Give of ten minutes of spare time and we can come up with some sick beats. Also, me and the snare Ashley have a little competition going on. Whoever can get the most push-ups from our band director wins, loser brings food. Yeah, freaking push-ups in band. Its pretty stupid. Our band director will give up push-ups for the stupidest things like so much as moving a little bit while at attention. And being percussion with 10-20lbs on your back, we move a lot! I think I'm up to about 240, and two laps. Oh, band is sure a fun time! Haha
Well, back to the rock. On the back there are hand prints, and a #gbr. Hope you guys love my artwork! Me and Dustin did it to surprise the rest of my squad. He also had to add the DC logo on the back because that's his initials. It looks pretty sweet.
Hm, enough posting for today! Hope y'all are having fantastic weeks!
ALSO! Forgot to mention, in the picture we are all wearing drum line shirts me and the school's computer teacher designed! The back says:
The Drumline:
   Shawn-Quads
   Ally-Quads/Bass
   Ashley-Snare
   Tayler-Cymbals
   Katy-Bass

Over View Of My Homecoming Week (Pictures!!!!!)

9/23-9/29

Monday was powder puff! Didn't a shirt and our class color was orange. So unfortunately I do not own any orange. So I borrowed my sister's shirt from her junior year that says junior on the back.... I'm a sophomore so it looked a little weird. The first picture is of our class (No! Not all of it. We aren't that small... Close but not that small. That's just the participating part of the class.), the second is just me and two of my best friends Kelsey and Brooke and the last is of the eye black that we wore for the game. That is my bestie Brooke and one of my other best friends Leah. Those three are like my main friends, so don't be alarmed of reoccurring photos with them.

Wednesday was the school bonfire. It was raining so we held it in the gym. It was still fun, but sadly we could have no bonfire so it basically was a pep rally. I participated as the drag king and sucked so bad. I also did the 3-leg race with my friend Josh. We were leading and we collapsed like 10 seconds into the race. Yep, they caught it on camera and put in on the school news.... It was kind of funny and I was able to laugh at myself considering i am completely un-poised. But still embarrassing. Oh, good memories.

Friday was the game. We won! Go Big Red! #gbr.

Saturday was the dance! It was an amazing dance. I was so drained afterwards. Danced hardcore. It was honestly, a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be. Let me run you through the pictures:
first-Me and Katie. She is so little!
second-me putting on Dustin's boutonniere (never would have guessed that was spelled like that. Too complicating). Completely clueless on how to do it.
third-the picture that was taken at the school. It isn't supposed to be that bright but I think the flash drained the color. The others all turned out with a normal color tone. I just like the bright one for some reason.
forth-Just one of me and Dustin on my deck.

In case anyone of y'all are wondering. The dress I bought at deb's, and the shoes were Payless Shoe Store. My hair is crimped and in one picture my somewhat-grown-out bangs are pinned back and in another they are down and wild. Haha. My makeup was something like Falsies, some liquid eyeliner and a little bit of white-gray eye shadow. Would of gotten a close-up but totally forgot. And lastly, nails are the magnetic Sally Hansen silver polish. You can see them here. Hope you guys had as great as a weekend as I did. It was fantastic(:

Me on bass at beginning of season in parade
The Drumline yet again. This time in action.

Finally Some Fashion

Finally a fashion post! Well the bottom picture is my church outfit. I know! So dressed up! (I kind of slacked a little... Had little sleep and 20 minutes to shower, get ready and do my hair) The sweater I got at American Eagle, the jeans at JC Penny and I don't know about the boots. All I know is the brand is Bear Claw. In the above picture I am wearing my gold aviators that I got for homecoming and my Cedar Point work sweatshirt. Love that sweatshirt! So soft and warm. Plus I just really like my hair in the first picture and in the bottom, my face is a little.... weird looking. I think I was in mid-blink.

Handprinted Box Of Awesome!

This morning I had student council decorating for homecoming. Our homecoming is this Saturday and the theme is carnival, not sure if I've mentioned that before. Anyways, this is what we did at student council today. We just painted the decorations and me and on of my best friends, Leah did these boxes! They looked awesome.
Also the outfit which I am wearing in this I will be making a separate post for it possibly Tuesday. i would tomorrow but there is the powder-puff football game for our school. I'm not playing but still going to support the class of  '15! Hope you guys are having a good start of fall! I'm exciting to go fall clothes shopping and break out the jeans. Today was my first official day of dressing in fall clothes!

Tower Of Terror Shirt

Reads:
Hollywood, 1939
Amid the glitz and glitter of
Hollywood at the height
of its golden age, the
Hollywood Tower Hotel
was a star in its own right.
But something happened.
Something dark.
Something unexplainable.
Something terrifying.
And it's happening once again.
But this time
it's happening to you.
The Twilight Zone
Tower of Terror
The shirt I got on my trip to Disney World. I honestly have nothing to post about and nothing to do so I found something random around my room and pulled a post out of thin air.  I've been doing not too much lately. Nothing too out of the ordinary or exciting. Though I am going to see Possession on Monday! Super excited! We have a day off at school and I had made great plans: Red Lobster, little shopping and movies. But our band director surprised up with an unplanned rehearsal on Monday starting at two so now it's just shopping and movies. No delicousness..... However, I am still very excited for Possession. I heard it was a great movie from my friends, really scary/freaky. Also, got my homecoming dress! Its one shoulder and is white&silver. I'll post pictures after homecoming, September 29th. Hope you guys are staying as busy as me! Have a great week!
